Jerry Lee Kober

Jerry Lee Kober, 74, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Friday, March 18, 2022.

Jerry was a native of Souderton, PA, but called DeRidder, LA his home more recently. He graduated Souderton Area High School in 1965. He attended LSU on an athletic scholarship from 1965-1969 where he lettered in football. Daddy loved his girls, and was a wonderful PopPop to his beloved grandchildren. Jerry loved his friends, sports and fishing. He was loyal and loving and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Jennifer Hebert and Reggie of Prairieville, LA, Wendy Starkey and Russell of Baton Rouge, LA; brother, Brian Kober and Claudette of Canada; beloved grandchildren, Alex Hebert, Morgan Starkey, Logan Starkey, Hayden Starkey, Amber Plessala(Jack); great grandchildren, Forrest, August; special niece, Karen Kober Brown and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Norman and Dorothy Kile Kober; brother, Paul Ronald Kober.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
