Jerry Glenn Callahan

Jerry Glenn Callahan, 86, of Merryville, Louisiana, passed from this life on Monday, February 13, 2023.

Jerry was an avid gardener; he also liked to read and fish occasionally. He will be remembered most for his wonderful ability to take care of his loved ones during times of illness. Jerry is loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Glenn Callahan and Rhonda of DeRidder, LA, Tony Callahan of Rosepine, LA, James Callahan of Houston, TX, Jack Callahan of Buffalo, NY; daughter, Jerrie Ladeaux and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Callahan, wives, Christine Keel and Alma Callahan; parents, Josie and Clayton Callahan and his siblings.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 17, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Graveside service will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Smyrna Cemetery in DeRidder, LA. Brother Frank Ott, Sr. will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Smyrna Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
