Jenifer Jude Taylor

Jenifer Jude Taylor, 38, of DeRidder, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 in DeRidder. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Myers Colonial Funeral Home.  Visitation will also be held Sunday, December 11, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Unity Baptist Church in DeRidder. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Unity Baptist Church in DeRidder. Rev. Roger Gill, Bro. Michael Burkes and Rev. Truitt Brown will officiate. Interment will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder.

Jenifer was a 1991 graduate of DeRidder High School. She taught pre-school at First Baptist Church for 3 years. She was presented with the volunteer of the year award by the DeRidder Chamber of Commerce in 2009. Jenifer was an active member of Unity Baptist Church and was in involved in the Women’s Ministry.

Jenifer is survived by: her husband, Lesley Taylor of DeRidder; 2 sons,  Cody Carlisle of DeRidder and Remy Taylor of DeRidder; 1 daughter,  Landri Taylor of DeRidder; 3 brothers, Quincy Darbonne and wife Kim of Sikeston, MO, Ricky Darbonne and wife Donna of Grenada, MS and Dusty Darbonne of Ragley, LA; 1 sister,  Robin Darbonne of DeRidder, LA; Brother – in – Law,  Wesley Taylor and wife Amber of DeRidder; Sister – in – Law, Michelle Hyatt and husband Trea of Houston, TX and Father & Mother – in – Law:  Richard and Lee Taylor of DeRidder.  She is also survived by: 11 nieces and nephews, Alexa Darbonne, Audrey Darbonne, Averi Darbonne, Hunter Darbonne, Kaleigh Darbonne, Cassidy Darbonne, Courtney Smith, Ben Smith, Parker Taylor, Coy Taylor and Lynlee Taylor; brother-in-law: Wesley Taylor and wife Amber of DeRidder, LA; sister-in-law: Michelle Hyatt and husband Trea of Houston, TX; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Richard and Lee Taylor of DeRidder, LA; God parents: Benny and Darlene Davis of Tyler, TX

She was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Ginger Darbonne
