Jeffrey Lynn Olson

Jeffrey Lynn Olson was born October 5, 1963 in Sulphur, LA and was called home October 22, 2022.

Jeff’s greatest loves were his family and Jesus. He was an avid LSU Tigers fan, and a true outdoorsman who loved to fish, but his real passion was hunting.  Jeff’s battle with cancer demonstrated the strength and courage he showed in life.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Colleen Olson; daughter, Taryn Olson; son, Logan Olson; brothers, Billy(Della) Olson, Dale Joseph(Lillian) Olson, Lawrence(Lynnette) Olson, Jr., Carl Olson, and John Olson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Olson, Sr.; mother, Alice Olson.

We celebrate his victory with a graveside service at Cannon Cemetery in Merryville, LA on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 10:00 AM. Brother Scott Richard will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Burial will follow.

The family invites everyone back to the Olson Home following the service for food and fellowship.
