Jason Monroe Baggett

d. June 2, 2017

Jason Monroe Baggett, 42, of Sugartown, LA, passed from this life on Friday, June 2, 2017.

Jason lived on his Paw Paw Baggett’s property near Grant, LA.  He graduated High School at East Beauregard. He worked construction in some of the nearby Plants for a while.  He had been disabled to work for several years.  He loved to hunt, fish, feed the deer, turkeys and squirrels on the family property in Grant.  His nephews and nieces were the closet thing he had to his own children and he loved them like his own.

He was usually a man of few words, but cared for and loved his family and friends.  He liked to draw and write poetry.  He had a poem several years ago, posted in Field and Stream Magazine.  His kindness and helpfulness touched a lot of people’s lives.  We are going to miss him now that he is with the Lord and his sister, LeAnn Baggett.

Those left to cherish his memory are his: father, Laron Monroe Baggett of Sugartown, LA; mother; Pauline Monical of Kiplin, LA; step father, Dwayne Monical of Kiplin, LA; companion, Teresa Hoy of Grant, LA; sister, Tiffany Hooper   and her husband Todd of Lake Charles, LA; grandmother, Charity Ford of Kiplin, LA; Nieces and Nephews, Bryten Monroe Cooley, Brylee Cooley, Savana Mott, Elora Hooper; Aunt Colleen and Uncle Franklin Tyler; First cousin, Katie Schiro and her husband E.J.
