Jasima Jacquil Buggs, 32, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Monday, May 13, 2024.

Those left to cherish her memory are her fiancé, Robert Dixon, Jr. of DeRidder, LA; son, Robert Dixon III; daughters, Heaven Dixon, Nevaeh Palmer; mother, Yvette Taylor and Joseph of DeRidder, LA; father, Jimmy Buggs and Reddi of Brooklyn Center, MN; brothers, D’Ante Batson and Dasijah of Leesville, LA, Jimmy Buggs, Jr., Jalen Buggs, both of Brooklyn Center, MN; sisters, Karisma Jardine of DeRidder, LA, Dymon Banks of DeRidder, LA; grandmothers, Ruby Jackson of DeRidder, LA, Dorothy Fields of Gary, IN and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Billy Joe Buckley, Jimmie Buggs.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024 from 9:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM at Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA Pastor Keith Stevenson will officiate the service. Active Pallbearers will be D’Ante Batson, Shadrick Taylor, Delaney Jackson, Jimmy Sweet, Jr., Freddy Judson, Robert Lee Dixon. Honorary Pallbearers will be D’Ante Batson, Delaney Jackson, Robert Lee Dixon, Jimmy Buggs, Jr., Jalen Buggs. Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
