Janice Elaine Hyatt Mitchell, 70, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 24, 2021.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Michael Burge and Nisey of DeRidder, LA; daughter, Lisa Burge of DeQuincy, LA; brothers, Donald Hyatt and Mary of Singer, LA, Thomas Hyatt and Robin of TX; sisters, Peggy Newman and Mickey of DeQuincy, LA, Tina Hyatt of DeQuincy, LA; grandchildren, James Burge and Renee, Lori Burge, Darren Henderson, Shaylin Henderson, Egan Henderson; great grandchildren, Khloey Burge, Kylie Burge, Kayden Burge and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Shirley Hyatt; brothers, Wayne Hyatt, Ronald Hyatt.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 26, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 27, 2021, also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Pastor Vic Warrick will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Hank Jones, Kevin Abshire, Egan Henderson, Spencer Logsdon, Ethan Logsdon, Donald Hyatt. Honorary Pallbearer will be Kayden Burge. Burial will follow at Hyatt Cemetery in Fields, LA.
