Jamie Silas

Jamie Gerard Silas, 47, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, February 12, 2022.

Jamie Silas was born the thirteenth child to Harris Mae and Robert Silas on September 6, 1974 in DeRidder, LA. He graduated for DeRidder High School in 1993. He loved playing football and worked at Service Cleaners as an assistant manager.

Those left to cherish his memory are his girlfriend, Ann Roberson; sons, Gerard Rosendoll, Jamiel Rosendoll, Darian Thompkins; daughter, Kyra Rosendoll; brothers, Gregory Silas and Vernie, Henry Silas and Cheryl, Terry Silas and Zelma, Frank Silas, Jerry Silas, Billy Silas, Marvin Silas and Karen, Bobby Silas; sister, Elizabeth Wallace; grandchildren, Kameron Dubose, Kyleigh Dubose and a host of nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Harris Mae Silas; sister, Judy Davis; brothers, Charles Silas, Joseph Silas.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 12:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM at Star of Bethlehem Church in DeRidder, LA. Pastor Frank Williams will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
