James Sidney Tyler

James Sidney Tyler, 98, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Monday, October 10, 2022.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Sidney Franklin Tyler and Colleen of DeRidder, LA, Ricky Lynn Tyler and Jennifer of Savannah, GA; eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Inez Tyler; son, James Herbert Tyler; daughter, Blanche Tyler; parents, Blanche and Herbert Tyler; brother, Kenneth Reid.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA. Brother Bruce Butts will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be J.J. Tyler, Steven Tyler, Ricky Tyler, Jr., Justin Tyler, Glen Monceaux, E.J. Schiro. Burial will follow at Shiloh Baptist Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
