James Nelson Hall

James “Pop” Nelson Hall, 66, of Fawil, TX, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 28, 2020.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 23 years, Diane Lynn Hall of Fawil, TX; daughters, Ginger Singletary and Brian of Roganville, TX, Mandy Powers and Fred of Fawil, TX, Jamie Hall of Kirbyville, TX; stepdaughters, Mattie Parr and Nicholas of Sheridan, AR, Araina Stouffer of Bleakwood, TX, Chanell Stouffer of Fawil, TX; stepsons, John Shawyer and Christy of Fawil, TX, Nathan Shawyer of Fawil, TX; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; one nephew; three nieces; and a host of cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leon Hall; mother, Louise Hall; sister, Londale Stanley; brother, William Leon Hall, Jr.; great nephew, Brandon Jeans.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 10:00 AM until the time of funeral service at 2:00 PM, at Fawil UPC in Fawil, TX.  Pastor James Witmer will officiate the service. Wesley Stanley will read the Eulogy.  Pallbearers will be John Shawyer, Logan Shawyer, Brian Singletary, Fred Powers, Craig Goodwin, Curbey Schmidt, Charles Isic and Alvin Mitchell.   Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimmy Inman, Sidney Cofty and Paul Johnson.  Burial will follow at Ford Cemetery in Newton, TX.
