James Franklin 72 of DeRidder, LA passed from this life on Saturday, February 13, 2010. Visitation was held on Sunday, February 14, 2010 from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM and Monday February 15, 2010 from 9 A.M. until time of services at Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in DeRidder, Louisiana. Funeral services were held on Monday, February 15, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in DeRidder, Louisiana. Interment was held at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA. Officiating the funeral service was Rev. Lloyd Jeane and Rev. George Swain.

James Franklin is survived by; His wife Agnes Franklin of DeRidder; Sons: Terry and wife Tina Franklin of DeRidder, LA and Travis and wife Becky Franklin of Rosepine, LA; Step Daughters: Melinda and husband Doug Wood of Singer, LA and Sherri and husband Anthony Harst of Ragley, LA; Brother: Otto Franklin of DeRidder, LA; Sister: Everene Austin of Baton Rouge, LA; 23 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.

Mr. Franklin is preceded in death by wife of 38 years Lorena Franklin, daughter Terri Franklin and sons Raymond Broussard II, William Broussard and Roland Broussard.
