James Earl Ambler

James Earl Ambler, 81, of Rosepine, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, May 18, 2013.  Those left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Bill Ambler and wife Jeanette of DeRidder, LA and Lawrence Ambler of Nacogdoches, TX; grandchildren, Brittany Aten and husband Kenneth of Lake Havasu City, AZ and Candace Fowles and husband Jared of Cedar City, UT; great grandchildren, Lily Ann Aten, James Earl Aten, Dakota Zoe Fowles and one on the way.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Nell Hammontree; his parents, Frank and Sibbie Ambler; son, Jimmy Ambler, Jr.; daughter, Cathy Lou Ambler; and son, Robbie Ambler.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 11:00am at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Rosepine Cemetery in Rosepine, LA.
