Jake Fowler

Jake Fowler, 89, of Jasper, TX, passed from this life on Monday, November 1, 2021.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Gladys Fowler of Jasper, TX; son, Bobby Fowler of Merryville, LA; daughter, Darlene McManus of Merryville, LA; stepsons, Brian Verrett of Livingston, TX, Kevin Verrett of DeRidder, LA; brother, Eugene Fowler and Dorothy of Ragley, LA; sister-in-law, Ella Foshee Loftin of Merryville, LA; thirteen grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sons, Robert Fowler, Kelvin Fowler; the mother of his children, Clara Fowler; parents, Allen and Lottie Fowler; brother, Howard Fowler.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 2:00 PM at Bethel Grove United Pentecostal Church in Merryville, LA. Brother Darwin Burks will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Joseph Ford, Kenneth Fowler, Cory Lott, Rodney Fowler, Derek Wilson, Kevin Verrett. Honorary Pallbearers will be Richard Fowler, Jaden Fowler, Kelvin Lynn Fowler. Burial will follow at Cannon Cemetery in Merryville, LA.
