Ima May Grace Johnson White

Ima May Grace Johnson White, 88, of Providence, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Carles N. White of Providence, LA; daughters, Selina Johnson of Providence, LA, Rosita Sharp of Sanda, TX, Shelda Harrell of Providence, LA, Samantha Wingate of Simpson, LA; brother, Milton Johnson of Pitkin, LA; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilmer and Lila Johnson; siblings, Mildred, Emma, Billy, Edwin, Grady, Elton, Mitch; two great grandchildren, Bethany and John Patrick.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Providence Baptist Church in Providence, LA. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM, Sunday, January 14, 2024, also at Providence Baptist Church. Brother Arlen Smith and Brother Mike Burkes will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Burial will follow at John C. White Providence Cemetery in Providence, LA.
