Hoye Midkiff

October 3, 1921 - November 16, 2015

Hoye Midkiff, 94, of Leesville, LA, passed from this life on Monday, November 16, 2015 in DeRidder, LA.  Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Bertha Midkiff; son, Dewayne Whatley and wife Brenda all of Leesville; daughters, Martha Hickman and husband Earl, and Brenda Burton and husband Gary all of Merryville; brother, Beamon Midkiff of DeRidder; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Minnie Midkiff; sisters, Lorena Stephens, Eunice Lewis, and Katie Lewis; brothers, Neulan Midkiff, Byron Midkiff, and Wesley Midkiff.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 17, 2015 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Lillie Pentecostal Church in Cottonwood.  Funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Lillie Pentecostal Church.  Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery in Cottonwood.   Bro. Pat Austin and Rev. George Swain will officiate.
