Herbert Edward Metcalf

Herbert Edward Metcalf,75, of Lake Charles, LA, passed from this life on Monday, December 14, 2020.

Herbert worked at Cit-Con as an operator for thirty-eight years until he retired in 2008. He spent his retired years relaxing and enjoying his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 49 years, Judy Metcalf of Lake Charles, LA; sons, Darren Metcalf and Elisa of Raleigh, NC, John Metcalf and Denine of Silsbee, TX and Joseph Metcalf of Jasper, TX; daughters, Karen Metcalf, Kasey Metcalf and Kayla Metcalf all of Lake Charles, LA; brother, David Metcalf and Tina of Longville, LA; nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Lena Metcalf; and son, Chad Metcalf.

Visitation and funeral service will be held at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA on Saturday, December 19, 2020 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM. Brother Jerry Parmentier will officiate the service. Pallbearers are Rusty Morgan, Kevin Caldwell, Charles Metcalf, Trevor Ceaser, Long Nguyen, Tommy Pitts, Kendal Metcalf, Tyler Deville and Aron Douga. Burial will follow at Meadows Cemetery, Merryville, LA.
