Helga Ruff Wood, 81, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Friday, April 15, 2021.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of sixty-three years, Ed Wood, Sr. of DeRidder, LA; son, Ed Wood, Jr. and Pauline of DeRidder, LA; daughters, Catherine Merchant and Brant of DeRidder, LA, Teresa Wood of Galveston, TX, Alene Graham and Jimmy of DeRidder, LA; brother, Wilfred Ruff and Waltraud of Pfungstadt, Germany; sister, Ingrid Crawford and Eddie of Griffin, GA; sister-in-law, Lieselotte Ruff of Frankfurt, Germany; grandchildren, Joby, Jaime, Eric, Ashley, Tessa, Lyndsey;  great grandchildren, Zoelynn, Brody, Lanie, Evan, Jude, Liam and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Louise Ruff; brothers, Gerhard Ruff, Klaus Ruff, Kurt Ruff, Gunther Ruff.

Brother Hershel Davis will officiate the private graveside service. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Graham, Joby Avery, Brant Merchant, Robert Kite, Ed Wood, Jr., Eric Wiegand.
