Helen Foshee Jarrell Fontenot 71, of Rosepine, Louisiana passed from this life on Friday, December 17, 2010 in Rosepine, Louisiana. Visitation was held on Sunday, December 19, 2010 from 5:00 P.M.to 9:00 P.M. at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 20, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana. Bro. Robert Foshee & Bro. Gary Pontiff will officiate. Interment will follow at Rosepine Cemetery in Rosepine, Louisiana.

Helen was  lifelong resident of Vernon Parish. She graduated from Rosepine High School in 1957 and married Rev. T.J. Jarrell after. They shared 40 plus years together living in the Rospine and Evans areas. Helen was custodian at Evans High School until her retirement in 1992. After Rev. Jarrell's death she married James Byron Fontenot and resided in Rosepine. Helen was a loyal an devoted wife to both husbands. She touched many lives with her easy friendliness and passion for life. Helen will be greatly missed by family and friends.
