Hannelore Charlotte Petrey

Hannelore Charlotte Petrey, 82, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, December 8, 2018.

Those left to cherish her memory are son, Jack Petrey and Marie of Middleburg, FL; daughters, Sandra Massingill and Shonia Jones both of DeRidder, LA; sisters, Renata Seitz, Karin Weinert and Mathilde Spinnler all of Germany; seven grandchildren, Mistle Peyregne, Savanna Petrey, Zachary Petrey, Shai Williamson, Joshua Jones, Toree Simmons and Devin Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Kenneth Petrey; parents, Wilhelm and Charlotte VanThiel; brother, Willi VanThiel.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 10, 2018 from 5:00-9:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be at 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, December 11, 2018 also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home.  Brother Joe Tolar will officiate the service.  Pallbearers will be family and friends. Burial will follow at Whitaker Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
