Hairl Dean Miller

July 21, 1941 - May 5, 2016

Hairl Dean Miller, 74, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at his home.  Mr. Miller retired from the U.S. Army after 21 years of service.  He served in Vietnam and Korea.  Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 52 years, Marie Miller of DeRidder; son, Hairl Miller Jr. and wife Beckie of Rosepine; daughter, Theresa Scherenberg and husband Jose of Palm Harbor, FL; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Violet Miller; brother, SJ Miller and Jerry Miller.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 9, 2016 form 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder.  A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 11:00am at Hyatt Cemetery in Fields, LA.
