Gussie Brown Waddle

Gussie Modena Brown Waddle, 80, of Rosepine, LA, passed from this life on Friday, March 8, 2024.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, J.D. Waddle and Karen of Rosepine, LA, Ronnie Waddle and Diana of Merryville, LA; twelve grandchildren, thirty-four great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Waddle; son, Ray Waddle; grandson, Galloway Eli Brister; parents, Lanson and Elizabeth Brown; brothers, Vincent Brown, Junior Brown, Neil Turner; sisters, Eddie Phillips, Blanche Miller, Myrtle Crawford.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Sister Betty O’Banion will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Matthew Brister, Michael Brister, Lane Williamson, Trayton Williamson, Ashton Williamson, Jordan Campbell. Burial will follow at Old Cypress Cemetery in Rosepine, LA.
