Grover Cleveland "Bud" Hamilton, 73, passed from this life on Monday, December 15, 2008 at Deer Creek Doctor’s Hospital in Leesville, Louisiana.  Mr. Hamilton was a life resident of the Merryville area. He left to work the oil Field at age 13.  He was of the Baptist Faith. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 18, 2008 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana, with funeral services following at 2 PM.

Survivors include the following; Wife: Peggy Hamilton of Henryetta, Oklahoma; Stepsons: Wade Pulis of Hendersonville, North Carolina, Clarence Pulis of Hendersonville, North Carolina, and Joe Richard of DeQuincy, Louisiana; Daughters: Charlotte Hamilton Gilchriest of Merryville, Louisiana, Deanna Marie Hamilton of Henryetta, Oklahoma, Ashley Nicole Hamilton of Henryetta, Oklahoma, Haley Michelle Hamilton of Henryetta, Oklahoma, Brandy Richard of Henryetta, Oklahoma, and Mary Richard of Henryetta, Oklahoma; Brother: Clement Lester Hamilton of Memphis, Tennessee; Sister: Sylvia LeBlue of Merryville, Louisiana; Special Niece: Julia R. Cornwell of Merryville, LA and husband Curtis; 3 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren as well as 10 nieces and 8 nephews.
