Gregorio "Greg" Cabrera, Jr.

Gregorio “Greg” Cabrera, Jr., 18, of Dry Creek, LA, passed from this life on Monday, August, 27, 2018.

Greg was a Senior at East Beauregard High School.  He spent his free time hunting and fishing.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Suzi and Earl Gillette, Jr. of Dry Creek, LA; father, Gregorio Lazcano Cabrera, Sr. of Port Arthur, TX; sisters, Raquel Cabrera and Paulette Gillette both of Dry Creek, LA; brothers, Christopher Healer (Paula) of Cave Junction, OR, Brian Gillette and Tyler Gillette both of Dry Creek, LA; nieces, Aleyna Maribel Cabrera and Amelia Leanne Gillette of Dry Creek, LA; nephew, Alger Eli Cabrera of Dry Creek, LA; grandfather, Sherman Renshaw of Kilgore, TX; grandmothers, Nancy Gillette of Dry Creek, LA. and Peggy Pierce of Napa, CA; and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Lloyd and Ilene Knapp of Grass Valley, CA and his grandfather, Earl Ray Gillette, Sr. of Dry Creek, LA.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2018, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  A short visitation to continue on Friday, August 30, 2018 at Grace Church in DeRidder, LA from 10:30-11:00AM with funeral services to follow at 11:00 AM.  Pastor George Lee Glass will officiate the service.  Pallbearers will be, Cody Shanley, Javan Gillette, DaShawntez Gillette, Jacquez Gillette, Brian Gillette, and Tyler Gillette.  Honorary Pallbearer will be Ethan Harrell. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Dry Creek, LA.
