Glenn L. Smith, 56, of Merryville, Louisiana, passed from this life on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 in Merryville, Louisiana. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2009  from 5 PM until 9 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 27, 2009 at 11 AM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home with Bro. Melvin Smith and Bro. Arlen Smith officiating.  Burial will follow at Cannon Cemetery in Merryville, Louisiana.

Survivors include the following; Wife: Lynn Smith of Merryville, Louisiana; Son: Scot and Jamie Smith of DeRidder, Louisiana; Daughter: Glenna Smith of Lake Charles, Louisiana; Brother: Arlen Smith of Cravens, Louisiana; Sister: Karen Buxton of Rosepine, Louisiana as well as Twelve Grandchildren and Two Great Grandchildren
