Glen Oscar Jackson

November 2, 1947 - October 29, 2014

Glen Oscar Jackson, Sr., 66, of Rosepine, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, October 29, 2014.  Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Glen Jackson, Jr., Tracey Bailey and Randall Matthis; daughters, Courtney Matthis, Katlin Matthis, and Violet Hickman and husband Pete, all of DeRidder, LA; brother, Kevin Gibson and wife Lynn of Bossier City, LA; sister, Scharlotte Chiasson and husband Norman of Marrero, LA; former wife, Vickie Matthis of DeRidder, LA; nieces, nephews, extended family and special friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Jackson and Joy Gibson; brothers, J.W. Jackson, Sr., and Freddie Gibson; and sister, Patricia Snapp.

Visitation and Funeral services will be held Friday, October 31, 2014 at Providence Baptist Church in Rosepine, LA.  Visitation will begin at 10:00am until time of service at 2:00pm.  Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery.  Bro. Arlen Smith will officiate.
