Gladys Smith Willis

Gladys Smith Willis, 77, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Friday, March 8, 2019.

Those left to cherish her memory are sons, Amos Davis, Jr. of Triangle, VA, Charles Allen Smith and Erica of Austin, TX and Timothy Hardy of DeRidder, LA; daughters, Virginia D. Davis of Rosepine, LA and Shamikka Murray of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; brothers, John Thomas Smith and King Edward Smith both of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; sisters, Erma Jackson of Rosepine, LA, Betty Jean Smith and Loretta Smith, both of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; fourteen grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Willis; brother, Leroy Smith, Jr.; and parents, Leroy and Naomi Smith.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 8:00 to 10:00 AM at Sunrise Missionary Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM also at Sunrise Missionary Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA.   Brother Alvin Peters will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
