Gladys Jean Brazzle

Gladys Jean Carheel Brazzle, 74, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, December 4, 2021.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Johnny Brazzle (Amanda) of DeRidder, LA, Grant Brazzle (late, Earlie Mae) of DeRidder, LA, William Brazzle, Jr. (Shawana) of Pflugerville, TX; daughters, Gloria Owen (Willie) of Albany, GA, Clotel Brazzle (Phillip Dear) of Denton, TX; brother, Johnny Carheel of Fort Worth, TX; sisters, Ruby Conway of VA, Jacqueline Wesson of Fort Worth, TX, Rita Carheel of Fort Worth, TX and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Laura Carheel; husband, William Brazzle, Sr.; brothers, Tommy Carheel, Theo Carheel, Gary Carheel, David Michael Carheel; sister, Johnny Mae Carheel Maxie; granddaughter, Clotel Evette Tobe.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Pastor Alvin Peters, Sr. will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Johnny Brazzle, William Brazzle, Jr., Cortez Brazzle, Jyrin Brazzle, Phillip Dear, Reginald McClendon. Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.

The repass will be at the Mason Hall on Bapties, St., Deridder, LA following the burial.
