Gary Dean Burks

Gary Dean Burks, 64,  of Starks, LA passed from this life on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at his home.  Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Janice; son, Greg Burks; daughter, Jody Stracener and husband Steven all of Starks, LA and one grandchild, Dylon Taylor.  He was preceded in death by his parents, R.C. and Irene Burks.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral services will be on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Boxwood Church of Christ in Bivens, LA at 2:00 p.m.  Burial will follow at Bivens Cemetery in Bivens.  Bro. Rod Boyer and Elder Earl Franks will officiate.
