Florence Marie (Berthol) Hennigan

Mrs. Florence Marie (Barthol) Hennigan 69, of Merryville, LA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 22, 2011, in a local care facility where she resided for the past seven years. She was born on July 9, 1942 in Jasper, TX. She was a beloved member of both the First Apostolic Church and First United Pentecostal Church of Merryville for many years.

Mrs. Hennigan was preceded in death by her mother Lula Mae (Busby) Barthol and father Harvey Barthol of Jasper, TX. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jack Melton Hennigan, Sr., “Jay” Hennigan, Jr., Trina Louise Campbell, Florence Gaylene Salgado, Lisa Lynn Moore of Merryville, LA, Tina Denise Cooley of Singer, LA, Kyle Keith Hennigan of Dallas, TX, ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sister, Reba Rawls of Kirbyville, TX and brothers, Carl Barthol and Junior Barthol, both of Jasper, TX.

Visitation will be held Saturday, November 26, 2011 from 11:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. and again on Sunday, November 27, 2011 from 9:00 A.M. until time of service at First United Pentecostal Church in Merryville, LA. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at First United Pentecostal Church in Merryville, LA. Rev. Frank Kendall and Rev. Guy Snyder will officiate. Interment will follow at Cannon Cemetery in Merryville, LA
