Evelyn Marie Hinson

Evelyn Marie Hinson, 84, of Woodlawn, VA, formerly of DeRidder, LA passed from this life on Sunday, March 29, 2020.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Gary Hinson and Patrice of Pasadena, TX, John Thomas (Tommy) Hinson and Julie of Kingwood, TX; daughter, Cindy Blackwell and John of Woodlawn, VA; brothers, Buck Blackmon and Judy of DeRidder, LA, James Blackmon and Rhonda of DeRidder, LA, Dale Blackmon and Sherry of Russellville, AR; sister, Phyllis Morales of Texas City, TX; grandchildren, Colton Hinson of Pasadena, TX, Matthew Blackwell and Allison of Fulshear, TX, Michael Blackwell and Brandi of Katy, TX, Whitney Hass and Tim of Katy, TX, Lacee Hinson and Chad Hagler of Katy, TX; great grandchildren, Ryder Hass and three more on the way and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ernest (Buddy) Hinson; parents, Lonnie and Vinnie Blackmon; sister, Christine Cabra; sister-in-law, Patti Blackmon; brothers-in-law, Ted Cabra and Harold Morales

A private burial will be held at Hinson Cemetery in Knight Community, LA.

Gary, Cindy, and Tom would like to thank Diane, Morgan, Stephanie and Jane from Mountain Valley Hospice for their care and devotion the last year. We would also like to thank Kindly Care and Heart to Heart for her care as well in La Porte, TX.  We appreciate her doctor’s care over the years, Dr. Walton and Dr. Dhoble.
