Ersula Marie Craft

Ersula Marie Busby Craft, 76, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Monday, February 27, 2023.

Ersula graduated from Leesville High School in 1965. She was a longtime member of First United Pentecostal Church of DeRidder. She worked as a Budget Analyst for Civil Service at Fort Polk until her retirement in 2009. Ersula is loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of ten years, Jerry Craft of DeRidder, LA; brothers, Ronald Lynn Busby and Yvonne of Many, LA, Rodney Wayne Busby and Liz of Provencal, LA; stepson, Dusty Craft of Houston, TX; stepdaughters, Staci Robison and David of Moss Bluff, LA, Kristi Hampton and Tim of Harrison, AR; step grandchildren, Taylor Robison, Tanner Robison, Regan Vaught and Ethan, Zachary Hampton; step great grandchildren, Makenleigh and Marleigh and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Nathaniel and Ebbie Hagan Busby; brothers, Nathaniel Rubin Busby and Roger Dale Busby.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 2, 2023, at First United Pentecostal Church of DeRidder, LA. Brother Zale Lewis, Brother Chance Lewis and Brother Tim Hampton will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Christopher Busby, Barry Sisco, Tanner Robison, Zach Hampton, Eddie Hanks, Dusty Craft. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery in LaCamp, LA.
