Ernestine McMahon Colton, 75, of Deridder, LA, passed from this life on Sunday, May 14, 2023.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Artis Colton, Jr. and Bobbie of DeRidder, LA, George Colton and Averious of DeRidder, LA; daughter, Belina Miller of DeRidder, LA; brother, John T. Ashworth of Bon Wier, TX, Adolph Banks of DeRidder, LA; sister, Earline Blakes of DeRidder, LA; grandchildren, Jashieka Colton, Artis Colton, III, Audriana Colton, Julisa Colton, Christina Banks, Edward Noble, Jr. Montevious Banks, Shanita Banks, Curtis Miller, Jr., Shamari Miller, Santana Roberson; great grandchildren, Draya Colton, Dorian Colton, Jada Colton, Isaiah Colton, Mya Colton, Iyan, Jaylynn Colton, Ava-Anna Colton, Asia Darden and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Larry Colton, Eugene Colton, William Colton; husband, Artis Colton, Sr.; father, Henry McMahon; mother, Bessie White, sisters, Bea Spikes, Adell Marie Banks.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Pastor Michael Harris will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Edward Noble, Sr., Edward Noble, Jr., Artis Lee Colton, III, Montevious Banks, Curtis Miller, Jr., George Colton. Burial will follow at Spikes Cemetery in Bancroft, LA.
