Erie Lee Mazyck

September 15, 1946 - January 28, 2014

Erie Lee Mazyck was born September 15, 1946 in DeRidder, Louisiana, to the late Mary Mazyck and Neele Jackson. Erie accepted Christ at an early age where she became a member of Starlight Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor, Lutheran Smith.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Regina Mazyck and Shirley Akins; two brothers, Aaron Mazyck and Harold Akins.

Her memory will carry on in the lives of those she loved; her son, William Fitzgerald (Vanessa) Mazyck of DeRidder, and baby boy, Sheldon Renard (Karen) Mazyck of DeRidder. She is also survived by her brother, Larry Mazyck and wife Regina; sisters, Sherry Dorsey, Katherine Beasley and husband Frank, all of DeRidder, and Raybelle Miller of Miami, FL; 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; and special nephew/son, Ernest St. Romain.

Visitation and funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at St. Mary's Church of God in Christ in DeRidder, LA. Visitation will be from 10:00am until 11:00am, with funeral services beginning at 11:00am.  Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
