Emma Jean Dobson

Emma Jean Dobson, 83, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, August 7, 2021.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Robert Dobson and Marilyn, Tony Dobson and Martha, both of DeRidder, LA; brothers, Donnie Collins and Mona of Melbourne, FL, Jackie Collins of VA; sisters, Wanda Jenkins and Ted of VA, Patricia Skinner of Summersville, NC; seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren plus one more on the way and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Dobson; parents, Wilbur and Alice Collins; brothers, Bennie Collins, Hubert Collins, Harold Collins.

Drive Thru Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grace Church in DeRidder, LA and will continue Wednesday, August 11 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Graveside Funeral service will be at 12:00 PM, Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Shiloh Cemetery in DeRidder, LA. Pastor George Lee Glass and Reverend Ralph Sikes will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be friends and family. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
