Elvis Dean Smith

Elvis Dean Smith, 52, passed from this life on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at DeQuincy Memorial Hospital in DeQuincy, Louisiana.  Visitation will be held at Smokey Cove Pentecostal Church in Singer, Louisiana on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 starting at 4 PM and will continue through the night until the funeral service on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at 2 PM.  Bro. Roy Hoosier and Bro. George Smith will officiate.  Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at 2 PM at Smokey Cove Pentecostal Church in Singer, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Good Hope Cemetery in Singer, Louisiana.

Survivors include the following: Son: Robert Dean and wife Kathy Smith of Rowlett, Texas; Daughter: Christine Smith of Rowlett, Texas; Brother: George T. and wife Linda Smith of Alvin, Texas; Sisters: Wanda D. and husband Jeston Burnett of Starks, Louisiana and Debbie Jean Brown of Starks, Louisiana; As well as 3 Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: Mother: Lillie M. Smith; Father: Eldridge Smith; Sisters: Evelyn Rose Martin and Loretta L. Smith; Brothers: Eldrige Ray Smith and Joe H. Smith
