Elva R. McMahon 81 passed from this life on Monday, March 22, 2010 at Beauregard Memorial Hospital in DeRidder, LA. Visitation will be Monday, March 22, 2010 from 5:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. at Pentecostal Gospel Lighthouse in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Pentecostal Gospel Lighthouse in DeRidder, LA with Rev. Ed Tilley and Rev. Jessie McMahon officiating.  Interment will be at Simmons Cemetery in Mittie, LA.

She is survived by Sons: Shelby and wife Terri Simmons of Dry Creek, LA, Darrell Simmons of Mittie, LA and Curt and wife Ruthie Simmons of DeRidder, LA; Daughters: Kayla S. McMahon of Humble, TX and Marilyn S. and husband John Dobson of DeRidder, LA; Brothers: Ercel "Cook" Fontenot of Kinder, LA and Phil Fontenot of Kinder, LA; Sisters: Gladys Fontenot of Kinder, LA, Annette Fontenot of Kinder, LA, Wilona Henry of Lake Charles, LA, Nadine Coward of Kinder, LA and Sharon Ryes of Kinder, LA; Fifteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by First husband: Shelton Simmons; Parents: Milton and Lena Fontenot; Sister: Iona "Sis" Buller; Second husband: Rev. W.L. McMahon; Brother: Alveno "Mano" Fontenot.
