Visitation was held on Saturday, February 13, 2010 from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM at First United Pentecostal Church of Merryville in Merryville, Louisiana. Funeral service was held on Sunday, February 14, 2010 at 3:00 PM at First United Pentecostal Church of Merryville in Merryville, Louisiana. Interment was held at   Old Cypress Cemetery – Merryville, LA. Officiating the funeral service was Pastor. Frank Kendall & Rev. James Hamilton.

Elise Whiddon is survived by; Brother: Claude Moses of DeRidder, LA; Son:  Arnold Denby of Abbeville, LA & Glen Whiddon of Alexandria, LA; Daughters:  Mary Beane of Merryville, LA, Glenda Higginbotham of Merryville, LA, Linda Chapman of Abbeville, LA & Patricia Drake of Fortson, GA; 20 Grandchildren; 41 Great Grandchildren & 14 Great Great Grandchildren. Preceded in death by 2 Grandchildren.
