Eldridge Elias Johnson

Eldridge Elias Johnson, 60, of Lawton, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Saturday, November 24, 2018.

Eldridge was retired from the Army where he proudly served his country for over 20 years.  He was a minister of music, a member of the Christian Motorcyclists Association and loved to ride his Honda Gold Wing.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 34 years, Freddie “Ann” Johnson of Lawton, OK; daughter, Carmen Jefferson & Carl of Oklahoma City, OK; granddaughter, Gloria Jefferson of Oklahoma City, OK; father, Frank Johnson, Jr. of DeRidder, LA; brothers, Frederick P. Johnson & Lacontas of Columbia, SC; sisters, Clara Bruce & David of DeRidder, LA and Marion Peters of DeRidder, LA; brother in law, Eddie Mark of Beaufort, SC; and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Willia Mae Johnson and sister, Barbara Mark.

Visitation and Memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M., with the memorial service starting at 6:30 P.M at the Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA. Full funeral and burial service will be held in Lawton, OK.  Interment will be at the Fort Sill National Cemetery in Lawton, OK.
