Eddison Colbert, 70 of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at his home.

Those left to cherish his memory are his stepdaughter, Dawn Williams of Shreveport, LA; brother, Nathanial Colbert and wife Jerri of Ft. Worth, TX; nephew, James Williams, Jr. of Westlake, LA; nieces, Virgil Gail Johnson-Riley of Hyattsville, MD, Lynette Johnson of Wilmington, DE, Rodene Williams of Lake Charles, LA, Carsia Colbert of Arlington, TX, Cheryl King of Cedar Hill, TX, Andrea Jackson of Temple, TX

Talitha Thompkins of Temple, TX, and Angela Brown of Ft. Worth, TX.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mabel Colbert; sister, Thurma Mae Williams, and nephew, Nathanial Colbert, Jr.

Visitation and Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Visitation will begin at 10:00am until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon.  Burial will follow at Community Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
