Eddie Ray Havens, 89, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Elton R. Havens and Teresa of Merryville, LA; daughters, Georgia Franks and Kenneth of Merryville, LA, Deborah Pinson and Michael of Merryville, LA, Angie Lynette Lanier and Michael of Merryville, LA; brother, Steve Havens and Maxine of Mountain Home, AR; grandchildren, Chasi, Chance, Chase, Crystal, Tiffany, Melissa, Bryan, Levi, Shane; twelve great grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Angelene Havens; parents, Coland and Bessie Havens; sister, Rachel Ferguson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM, Sunday, May 19, 2024, also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home. Pastor Homer Longoria will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Chase Havens, Levi Lanier, Shane Lanier, Bryan Lynn. Honorary Pallbearer will be Eli “Bubba” Lanier . Burial will follow at Cooper Cemetery in Merryville, LA.
