Dovie Marie Crawford-Lewis, 64, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Friday, May 17, 2024.

A loved one is gone from our circle, on earth we will meet her no more. She has gone to her home in Heaven and all her afflictions are over. A loving sister tender and kind, what a beautiful memory you left behind. A heart of gold stopped beating, working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. Leaves and flowers may wither, the golden sun may set, but the hearts that loved you dearly are the ones that won’t forget.

Those left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Sedric Crawford and Thelma of Geismar, LA, Perry Crawford and Jan of Colleyville, TX; sisters, Shalette McCrae and Herman, Sr. of Augusta, GA, Paula Vickery and Jonathan of Pflugerville, TX, Pamela Crawford of Houston, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Mandie Crawford; sister, Linet Crawford; brothers Render K. Crawford, Paul Crawford.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Sweet Home Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA. Pastor Kirk Bouie will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Cypress Cemetery in Rosepine, LA.
