Douglas Edward Clay, 50, of Leesville, Louisiana passed from this life on Tuesday, November 20, 2012. He was born on December 15, 1961 to the proud parents, Gloria Turner and Johnny Lemon.  He was a native of Houston, TX  and was a resident of Leesville, LA.  He attended Jack Yates High School in Houston, TX.  He met his wife, Marilyn Clay of DeRidder, LA in 1985 and they were married on April 16, 1985 until she preceded him in death.


He leaves in loving memory, mother and step-father, Gloria and Willie Turner of Houston, TX; sisters, Brenda (John) Duncan of Houston, TX, Sharon Clay of Houston, TX and LaKita Hatfield of Monroe, LA; brothers, Walter (Wanda) Clay of Houston, TX, Jerome (Pam) Livingston of Claxton, GA; sister-in-law, Carolyn (Joe) Jackson of DeRidder, LA, Shelia (Andrew) Mayes of DeRidder, LA; brothers-in-law, Oscar (Betty) Baggett of DeQuincy, LA, Jo-Nathan (Carrie) Baggett of Austin, TX, John (Jerryfine) Baggett of DeRidder, LA, Keith Baggett of Austin, TX and Jeff Baggett of DeRidder, LA and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Baggett Clay and father, Johnny Lemon.


Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2012 from 9:00am until 11:00am at Myers-Colonial Funeral in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral service will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.  Elder, M. Johnson will officiate.
