Dorothy Sue Richmond, 88, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Friday, January 9, 2015 in Leesville, LA.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, David Richmond and wife Sheila of Natchitoches, LA, Dale Richmond of DeRidder, LA, and Scott Richmond and wife Crystal of DeRidder, LA; daughters, Sue Buell and husband Jerry of DeRidder, LA, and Rebecca Richmond of DeRidder, LA; brothers, Max Burks of Iowa, LA, and Bill Gidney and wife Edna of Indiana; sisters, Peggy Garrison and Shirley Simmons of Lake Charles, LA; grandchildren, Gabe Richmond and fiancée, Sara of Baton Rouge, LA, Eve Richmond and Mary Hawkins of Shreveport, LA, Mary Koleas and husband Morgan of Natchitoches, LA, Larry Richmond and wife Heather of Tyler, TX, Jolene Jeane of San Antonio, TX, Jade Richmond of DeRidder, LA, Darian and Devyn Rutherford, and Blaze Richmond;  great grandchildren, Alyssa and Gracey Reyes, and Ethan and Carter Koleas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Richmond, Jr.; and granddaughter, Erika Reyes.

Funeral service is Sunday, January 11, 2015 at 2:00pm at Pentecostal Gospel Lighthouse in DeRidder, LA.  Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder.  Rev. Ed Tilley will officiate.
