Dorothy Georgia Franklin, 84, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 19, 2018.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Richard Franklin and Elaine of Puyallup, WA, Russell Franklin of Port Orchard, WA, Rodger Franklin and Tammy of DeRidder, LA; daughters, Kathryn Foote of DeRidder, LA, Karen Collins and Patrick of Huntsville, AL, Kristina Franklin of DeRidder, LA; brother Robert White of Bobcaygeon, ON; twenty-six grandchildren, forty-five great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her:  husband, Ottis Franklin; parents, John and Viron White; sister-in-law, Marjorie White; son-in-law, Tommy Foote, and three grandchildren, John Hatfield, III, Tanner Bailey, Karah Jones.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018, from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 23, 2018 also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home.  Reverend Gary Bankson will officiate the service.  Pallbearers will be, Josh Jones, Michael Hickman, Lee Hatcher, Jason Franklin, Joseph Foote, and Reese Franklin. Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
