Dorothy Arlene Ford Gibson

September 11, 1931 - April 30, 2016

Dorothy Arlene Ford Gibson, 84, of DeRidder, LA, departed this life on April 30, 2016.  She was the mother of seven children.  She was an active church member and musician for many years.  Ms. Ford is survived by three daughters, Mable, Sharon, and Margenette all of DeRidder; two sons, Clifford (Jeanie) of DeRidder, and Gary (Terrie) of Pickering, LA; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, May 6, 2016 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral services will be held at Norris Memorial COGIC on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 11:00am.  Burial will follow in the Pinegrove Cemetery, Hawthorne, LA.
