Doris Una Lucius Walker

Doris Una Lucius Walker, 88, of Rosepine, LA, passed from this life on Thursday, January 2, 2020.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Bruce Walker and Judy of DeRidder, LA and Keith Walker and Lynn of Merryville, LA; daughters, Judy Faye Keel of DeRidder, LA, Suzy Johnson of DeRidder, LA, Karen Parks and William of DeQuincy, LA and Kathy Darbonne and Larry of Church Point, LA; brothers, Don Lucius of Rosepine, LA and Gene Lucius of Arkansas; seventeen grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Booth Wayburn Walker; parents, Lemuel and Julia Lucius; brothers, Milford Lucius, Murphy Lucius, L.J. Lucius, Johnny Lucius, and Dean Lucius; sister, Shirley Lucius Smith.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at Turning Point Apostolic Church in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 4, 2020 also at Turning Point Apostolic Church in DeRidder, LA. Pastor Dan Booth and Brother Johnathon Walker will officiate the service.  Pallbearers will be John Parks, Cody Walker, Anthony Griffin, Donovan Darbonne, Derrick Darbonne, Jared Walker, Justin Walker and Kevin Walker. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
