Dora Dick

March 20, 1934 - August 14, 2015

Dora Dick, 81, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Friday, August 14, 2015 at her home.  Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Patrick Dick and Darrell Dick both of Merryville; daughters, Virgie Anger, and Dora Abshire both of DeRidder, Diane Dowden of Merryville,  and Penny Blackmon of Billingsley, AL; brother, Jessie Leo McCollough of Daisetta, TX; sisters, Margarette Adams of Liberty, TX, and Mildred Simmons of DeRidder; 16 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Dick; mother, Essie Loving; and father, Elton McCollough.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 15, 2015 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder.  Funeral services will be Sunday, August 16, 2015 at 12:00 noon at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Cannon Cemetery in Merryville.  Bro. Roy Hoosier will officiate.
