Donnie Ray Samuel, Sr.

Donnie Ray Samuel Sr., 56, of DeRidder, Louisiana passed from this life on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at his home.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lee Gertha Samuel of DeRidder; sons, Mitchell Ray Samuel and wife Karen of Belgrade, Texas and Donnie Ray Samuel Jr. of Leesville, Louisiana; daughters, Kimberly Samuel of Houston, Texas, Laniecey Mitchell of Cottonport, Louisiana and Angelina Samuel of Orange, Texas; brother, Lester Samuel Jr. and wife of Belgrade, Texas; sisters, Juanita Jones of Bon Weir, Texas, Lisa Samuel of Maryland, Molly Williams and husband Nathaniel of Merryville, Louisiana, Linda Jean of Belgrade, Texas, Nora Lee of Belgrade, Texas and Misty of Bon Weir, Texas.  He is survived by seven grandchildren.  Mr. Samuel was preceded in death by his mother, Adeline Samuel and brother, Bobby Samuel.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 13, 2012 from 6:00pm till 8:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 11:00am at Bon Weir Church of God in Christ in Bon Weir, Texas.  Burial will follow at Belgrade Cemetery in Bon Weir, Texas.
