Donna Jean Milam was 69 years young and lived in DeRidder, Louisiana. She went to be with her Lord on July 28th in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was the wife of Keith Milam. They were married 30 years ago on October 10, 1987.
She was born on January 2, 1949 in Leesville, Louisiana and was the daughter of Donald William Harvey and Doris Howard Harvey. Donna was a realtor and Associate Broker for 32 years. She sold real estate in Leesville and DeRidder. She always got to know her clients in a personal way and was known for her sweet and kind spirit. She was also a kind and loving wife, mother, and Mimi. She would do anything for her family and friends and was always the life of a party. Her and Keith enjoyed many fond memories together but the time they enjoyed on their sailboat were some of the best. Donna was an awesome mom as well and would do anything for her son and daughter. She taught them to be a strong man and woman and modeled to them from a young age how to love their Lord. Her grandchildren were the loves of her life. Some of their favorites memories of Mimi are the fun times they spent with her in the pool. They will miss their Mimi dearly. Donna was a member of First Baptist Church of DeRidder.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald William Harvey and Doris Howard Harvey, her mother-in-law, Eva Milam, her brothers-in-law F. Clay Tillman Jr. and James Cook and sister Ginger Binion.
