Dollie Rae Perry, 82, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, May 3, 2014.  Those left to cherish her memory are her Son, Claydon Perry of Merryville, LA; Brothers, Buck Spillers of Merryville, LA, John & Wife Lillian Spillers of Port Neches, TX; Sisters, Lillie Bea (Sis) & Husband T.C. Tullos of Moss Bluff, LA, Patricia & Husband Steve Bennett of Liberty, TX, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by Parents, Buck, Sr. & Aby Spillers; Husband John L. Perry; and an infant brother.

Mrs. Dollie was a longtime employee of Slaydon’s Grocery in Merryville, LA. She trained many of the employees. She loved to hunt, fish, and sew. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation was held Sunday, May 4, 2014 from 6:00-8:00PM and again on Monday, May 5, 2014 from 9:00AM until time of service. Funeral services were held Monday, May 5, 2014 at 2:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Burial followed in the Merryville Cemetery in Merryville, LA.
